TeosetInvestBot
The crawler of Invest-Teoset — a free stock screener, dividend calendar and portfolio tracker.
What it does
TeosetInvestBot reads public investor-relations pages of listed companies: press-release lists, RSS/Atom news feeds and dividend pages. On Invest-Teoset each company page then shows the company's latest press releases (headline, date and a link back to the original page) and its announced dividends (amount, record, ex- and payment dates).
It does not log in, does not submit forms, does not run JavaScript, does not download images or media, and does not copy full articles — only headlines, dates, links and dividend figures.
How often
- Discovery: one visit to a company's investor pages about once every 90 days (a few requests: robots.txt, the investor page, its news feed or list).
- Refresh: once a source is verified, one request roughly every 2 hours — typically one request per site.
- Never more than one request at a time to the same site, with a pause between requests; about 3 requests per second in total across all sites.
- On HTTP 403, 429, 503 or a challenge page the bot backs off and does not retry that site/platform for at least 24 hours.

How to control or block it
TeosetInvestBot obeys robots.txt (rules for User-agent: TeosetInvestBot or User-agent: *). To block it completely:
